Polly's Arian...

Now that I am officially 43 years old; I am very happy to take this opportunity to announce the winner of inaugural give away draw here on 'Polly's Peri-wrinkles and Peircings', particularly as it transpires that this lady's husband shares the same birthday as myself!

Jean; of 'The English Armchair Abroad' if you would like to get in touch via e-mail with your contact details; I will forward you a package of ten hand-made greeting cards - mixed from my Spring Time collection. I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.

Seeing as it's you, I will send at least one including with a lot of dry embossing on it for you to send to Granny; so that she can share in your good fortune! We had a chuckle at your description of her making hot-cross buns although the birthday cake and the gynaecologist sound even funnier...

For those of you who don't yet know Granny, why not follow the link and have a look at this octegenarians blog for the blind and partially sighted. She not only provides insightful & often humorous commentary on the lives of those affected by this disability, but also the world at large. If you'll excuse the pun; why not take a peek...

Congratulations Jean and thank you so much for taking part!

Love Polly Peirce x

Well thanks and what can I say? I'm really touched that you will include an embossed one for Granny - she will be thrilled. I'm glad to say that she and the Gynae have gone home! I couldn't have coped with another week of the two of them. It was like having bickering teenagers at times! (All this said with love and affection of course...I think!)
I will email you with my info and thanks again!

Cheers for that Jean!

I'm pleased that the bickering octegenarian teenagers have headed back to sanity land! It's lovely to see them when they arrive and almost better to see them as they go, isn't it? Love is a bitter sweet taste...

I'll get your cards packed up and off in the post in the next couple of days. Thanks for your kind comments and for taking the time to drop by ...
