Organic Idols Come Together...

Local company Glenisk, aka Tullamore Dairies has recently paired up with the Organic Centre to offer readers the opportunity to grow their own vegetables. The first 10,000 readers to register for this irresistible offer will be sent a packet of organic seeds to start them off...

Readers of my blog can, however do a little better than that and if they quote the code vincasinthekitchen01 they will be entered into a draw for a goody bag with a months supply of Glenisk Organic Yoghurt. What more could you ask for? Well, now that you mention it...

The funny thing about this is that it involves two companies whom I've admired for a long time, for a variety of reasons. Glenisk because of their business acumen, initially, and also because of their philosophy regarding organics, which has recently seen them embrace renewable energy as their sole power source. All this and they are neighbours, after all!

Regarding The Organic Centre, I've travelled to Rossinver, Co Leitrim on a number of occasions only to discover that this bastion of all things organic hasn't at that time been open to the public. How frustrating? This is one of the many things I want to do before I die, and at the rate I'm going it'll be a miracle if it happens at all! Maybe I'll have better luck this year!

So peeps, get out into that garden and prepare a bed to receive your organic seeds from Glenisk in partnership with The Organic Centre, but don't forget to visit their link first and register.
